Love these Peanut butter Cookies... And a little more...

Well I decided to post these today..  I was going to do this for tomorrow. But a young woman age 20 has died that's close in our outter family circle and tomorrow is her funeral.  And I rather do it today than on the day of her being put to rest...  20 years old hadden't even started her life yet.  We don't know just what happened only that she was with friends and was missing then found two days later dead at the beach lying on some rocks..  It is tragic to the fullest..  I had never met her personally but heard a lot about her.  She was my daughters kids, dads brothers girl friend for a long time.  Some months back they had broken up.  And he now has some tumors and has cancer and I just don't know he is only 19 years old.  This world is crazy.  So my youngest daughter knows her and other close close friends we call family are related to her.  Her name is Rose...  Sometimes life is to much and it seems to be over flowing in this direction..  Those are just two issues...   So May young Rose RIP..  Free from pain and sorrow you are..  Free from this upside down life..   May the lord keep you in his thought for when the day comes for you to be awaken once again..  Sleep well dear Rose...  I guess its more over whelming because it hasnt be long ago since mama left..  And shes so young to have lost her life...  And in my life time it seems we have burried so many young ones..  And it is just more and more..           πŸƒπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸ‚πŸŒΈπŸ’žπŸ™πŸ’žπŸŒΈπŸ‚πŸŒΊπŸŒ·

So moving forward to the Peanut butter cookie recipe...  I really am satisfied with this recipe...  I found it over at The charm of home blog..  It comes from King Arthur flour..
The reason I like them is because they have kind of a crunch and inside is still a tad chewy...
The batter is quite simple.  I whipped it up in the stand mixer to speed it up...  Right after you make the batter you can roll them into little balls then roll them into some sugar...
Then lay them on your cookie sheet however which way...  I just used a ole cookie sheet plain with nothing on it...

Then I started flattening them out with a fork dipped in sugar...  You know this is how they do most peanut butter cookies...
          Ready for the oven....
Put the timer on...  My sweet teapot timer that I got with a purchase of some pretty tin cans at Ross few years back....   I set up to make some tea. So when they were ready I could have a few with tea..
I love these plates...   They were found thirfting.  I recently checked ebay and esty the prices at outrages and Im not kidding..  I wanted some teacups but the cost is way to much...
I have just one saucer so I put it together with my melamine teacup that I recently got..  Funny thing there are three sets and one single cup... So it worked out...
Years before after i had found the dinner plates I found a stack of sslad plates.. And this one saucer..  I want more pieces but refuse pay the high prices on ebay...  Maybe one day I will find some...

More teatime...

Yesterday was so hot here in San Francisco, couldn't sit out and the house was even warm.  Usually because I live in a lower flat the house stays cool and sometimes darn cold..  But for those hot hot days when they actually appear it works well.  But with this morning a bit cooler I was able to get out and have tea..  I didn't set a table today just the tea tray...  Using my Pansy teapot...
One of my first ever teapots...  And I love it to death..  Pansy's are one on my weaknesses I can't resist them...  Though for some silly reason the nursery hasn't had many and none even like years back the lovely colors and combos I found...
I wanted something cheerful..  The summer has ended but it still feels as if it's lingering on.  Like I had mention lately my part of San Francisco had no summer...  So I'm hanging on to these warms days...
I used my newer violet teaset I love violets as well and have some in the garden. ..  And recently I learned like nasturtiums they have a pod that you can re plant...
Just my regular Lipton decafe tea is used..  I don't care for flowery teas..  Most teas are to strong for my taste...
Isn't this such a lovely pattern....
I also love lobelia.  Just love love it...   I have several spots around the garden with it...  I had more in the begininng of spring but they have come to seed as well.  I believe I mentioned this also, their seeds will fly around and they must be the tinest and will set..  There are a few in the cement cracks around..
This is new that sprouted from it's own seeds....

Awe that nice spot of tea with a tad of honey, sitting in the warm sun...  What could be better..
This one two the seeds blew in and landed in the tiny rose bush...

Happy tea everyone..  Have a wonderfully blessed day...  And a great new week...
                          πŸƒπŸ’œπŸŒ·...  With love, ... πŸŒ·πŸ’œπŸƒ

I can't believe it....

I guess it's our Indian summer...  I couldn't believe it, it was a gorgeous morning yesterday and I mean beautiful..  Absoloutly no wind warm just breath taking, finely...  And my garden was clean. I had spent Friday cleaning me and Isaiah did.  He said grandma, I always help you I help you in the garden I help you bake..  So cute..  He loves to bake..  And now he has to fall asleep in my bed..  Just has to he told me all the time always he wants to be with me..  Love it...  Theres no greater love to receive then the love of your grandchildren...  Anyways guess what I got to have a lovely quiet tea in the garden all by myself...
The sky was as blue as could be..  The birds were chirpping away. Children at a distance were making noises...  It was just grand...  I waited all summer and it was one thing or another that wouldn't let me have tea in the garden mostly weather...  But God gave the most wonderful  day yesterday...
Sun but shade under my tree...
Thats over in the next garden right from were I sit in mine....  Sweet purple tiny flowers all over the tree...

I love ferns ever since I was like 12....

The deep blue takes me always...  Hydrangeas....

               Under the tree...
     The lemons are still coming...
Figs soon they will be ready...  There is a ton hanging into my garden...
Teatime...  I used finally my Franciscan teapot...  Forever I admired this pattern.  My aunt had the whole set of dishes complete with everything..  I was young then and didn't know barely about patterns etc...nor dishes ...
I set my tiny table...  I was so excited...
Since it was about to be 11am I decided on a sandwhich instead of breakfast...
I just used my teabag holder to put a few pickles in...  I happen to love pickles...

It is my favorite teabag holder...  I only have a few though...
I only had a half sandwhich and tomatoes from the garden...

The little sugar pot...  So cute..  The first piece I ever found was the creamer in perfect shape for about $1.49 while thrifting with mama...  Then later a teacup set ...  This I purchased online and the teapot to at really good prices..

Finished my meal and im enjoying more tea....  Along with the beautiful weather...
All done...  It is so beautiful. I just sat for a while enjoying much as I could before I had to take off to mamas house.  I need to go there to make a list of the ten items I'm having picked up for free.  The garbage co.  Said they needed to know what they were picking up..  I'm just so grateful they do this twice a year. I can have two free pick ups a year, also both of my pick ups can be done in the same day...   It will help a lot..  This was the most wonderful mornings I have spent in a long time, which I'm also grateful for...  I thank my heavenly Father and my lord Jesus for all that he has given me..  Thank him for all of you too and all your kind comments..
Wishing you the most lovely day..
                                      With love Janice
